Refurbishment

  • - Wheels are removed from car
  • - Tyres removed from the wheels
  • - Tyres inspected for safety and stored
  • - Wheels inspected for cracks and flat spots
  • - Wheels repaired and welded if required (with customer approval and if safe to do so)
  • - Wheels stripped to bare metal
  • - Prepared in order to remove scuffs, scrapes corrosion and pitting
  • - Keyed for paint readiness
  • - De-gassed to remove potential oxidants that could affect finish
  • - Powder coat primer
  • - Basecoat colour

At this point our lathe technician will diamond cut your wheels if its part of the factory finish or if you have requested this finish on your wheels.

  • - Wheels are now powder clear coated
  • - Tyres are refitted
  • - Wheels are balanced
  • - Wheels are hand polished
  • - Wheels are refitted to car
  • - Tyres are given a special non-shine dressing
  • - Second technician performs another quality control check and final safety check
